New Video Series: Get RANKED on Google Maps – Step by Step

I’ve joined forces with Anne, a makeup artist and small business owner from Charlottesville, to tackle a tricky issue: her Google Business Profile lost its verification, leading to fewer people finding and booking her services.

You can follow along every week as my guest and I embark on a quest to secure a top spot for her business on Google Maps.

You can watch the first episode here:

Ep. 1 – Getting Started

In the first episode, Anne shares her story and reveals why her Google Business Profile got unverified.

We talk a lot about the significance of proximity to the city center for better Google visibility. Brainstorming solutions, we consider options such as renting a nearby office or collaborating with a business situated downtown.

We even explore the idea of becoming a “service area business,” ensuring customers wouldn’t have to visit an office. This way, we’d have a simple setup while showing Google that the business is legit.
